The challenge
Design and install a control-room power and lighting system that cannot tolerate downtime, with redundant supplies and verifiable failure modes.
Design response
A dual-fed, segmented distribution architecture with automatic transfer, UPS-backed critical loads, and a monitored emergency lighting scheme engineered to BS 5266.
Installation
Staged cut-over with full live-testing rehearsals so the changeover could be proven before a single live cable was moved.
